Why is my badge not showing? (App Embeds)

If your badge status is Active but it is not appearing on your store, the most common reason is that the app has not been activated in your theme yet. Shopify requires the App Embed to be enabled for the badges to function. Follow these steps to fix it.

Step 1: Activate via Dashboard (Required)

  1. Open the Snapp Trust Badges app dashboard.

  2. Look for the notification banner at the top of the screen: "Snapp Trust Badges & Icons app isn’t active.".

  3. Click the Activate now button inside that banner.

    • This is the necessary first step to register the app with your theme.

Step 2: Enable in Theme Editor

Clicking the button in Step 1 should automatically open your Theme Editor. If it doesn't, or if you want to verify manually:

  1. Go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize.

  2. Click the App Embeds icon on the left sidebar (it looks like a stack of blocks).

  3. Find Snapp Trust Badges in the list.

  4. Toggle the switch to ON (it should turn blue/black).

  5. Click Save in the top right corner.

Still not working?

  • Check Page Settings: Ensure your badge is assigned to "All Products" or the specific product you are viewing.

  • Clear Cache: Try opening your store in an Incognito/Private window to see the changes.
